Sunday 14 December - 12pm to 4pm We are delighted to bring back our Art Shop this Christmas. All artists involved in this art shop are Jelly workshop leaders, members of our Associate Artists or part of our Young Creatives Network.

Miranda Millward

Miranda aka collage artist @scissorspaperpaste will be selling a selection of collage related goodies! There will be lots of hand sourced ephemera collage kits in a variety of sizes! Hand made collaged greetings cards. Hand collaged magnets will also be available. Customers can also try Miranda’s mini collage kit gumball machine which is having its debut this autumn! Lots of gifting potential for your creative friends and family!

Ginger & Loud

Ginger & Loud will bring her usual menagerie of colourful, weird and humours drawings, prints and sculptures. However this year, there are also hand made shrines to display your own treasured items.

Megan Haddock

Megan Haddock is a freelance artist and illustrator with a passion for atmospheric landscapes and still life. She immerses herself in the world around her, finding beauty in the unassuming or overlooked places that surround us and bringing their voice out through her work. A unique process and art style brings the places she loves to life as she sees and feels them.

Helen Westhrop

Helen Westhrop: textile artist, stop motion animator, printmaker, illustrator, storyteller and poet.

Helen is presently exploring with her etching press and vintage 5x8 Adana Letter Press, using handmade paper and found card to produce limited edition poetry booklets. By not ignoring early seemingly failed attempts Helen wishes to raise an awareness in the beauty of the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.

Julie Calce Bunker

Julie a visual artist, working with mixed media. She is predominately a 3D artist, drawn to creating figurative and illustrated pieces. Most recently, she has been working on using a sewing machine as a means to draw and create collages. Using the sewing machine to draw is a tactile and meditative way for her to create. Needle work gives her a sense of permanence and strength. The images she creates draws on gender equality and unheard voices.

Wendy Henderson

Wendy Henderson is a mixed media artist, capturing nature and the everyday small joys in life. She combines paint, drawing, collage and stitch to create layered, lively pieces. Wendy works intuitively, creating one off pieces developed from her sketchbook observations. She also has one-off handmade collage cards for sale.

Ashley Deyo

Ashley Deyo is an American experimental artist that puts creative expression and sustainability at the heart of their work. Alongside their desire to create art from found and recycled materials, Ashley’s abstract paintings aim to capture meditations on the idea of home and the complex relationship between people and place. Ashley will be debuting the winter edition of their guided art kits as well as a selection of their paintings and prints.

Brenda Goodchild

Brenda has experience in teaching early years children in a primary setting and enjoys sharing art techniques with young children and hopes to gain more experience. She is currently studying a ma in art psychotherapy discovery how art can be a therapeutic tool to support children and adults through trauma. Brenda also creates art in her spare time usually colourful illustrations.

George Ryan

George is a local artist born and raised in Reading, he has been practising art all his life and went on to study Fine Art at Bournemouth University. His practice revolves around experimenting with colour and abstraction, but recently has started to turn towards stencils work, sculptures and mural work. He will be bringing stencils, new stickers, skateboards and small refurbished statues.

Jelly will offer a selection of sketchbooks and prints for purchase, with all proceeds supporting the creative work we do at Jelly. Among the items for sale will be our Reading inspired wood block prints such as our Ding Brick and Cheese Log tote bags. These handmade items are made by the Jelly crew and Trustees and all proceeds will help to fund our ongoing projects and initiatives.
